I grew up in Pleasant Grove, raised four kids in Lehi, and I can tell you with absolute certainty: a clean home is the difference between a Sunday that resets you and one that drains you. For years I tried to do it all myself — until baby number three made “doing it all” mathematically impossible.
So I hired help. The first cleaner ghosted us after one visit. The second one quoted three hours and was out the door in 75 minutes — leaving the inside of the microwave untouched. The third one charged me extra to wipe baseboards I’d already wiped myself.
I was done. I told my husband, “If a normal Utah County family can’t find a cleaner who actually cares, I’ll just do it for them.” I bought a vacuum, printed business cards at Costco, and put a post in the Lehi moms Facebook group at 11pm.
Three days later, I had four bookings. A month later, twelve. By the end of 2023, I’d hired my first cleaner — Maria, a friend from church who is genuinely the most thorough human being I’ve ever met. Within a year we were a team of six, serving every city in Utah County.
